Where is rinoa in space
This is wrong. What you seem to be mistaking is that Squall doesn't start caring for Rinoa in space, he actually cares for her and all of his other teammates long before then. BUT, Squall himself didn't know that he cared. Squall realizes he may never hear her voice again, see her smile again, etc He realizes how much he's pushed her away and he wants her back in his life.
This is why he carries her all the way to Esthar and then goes after her in space. When Rinoa finally snaps out of it in space she realizes everything Squall has done for her and she was right in believing in him all along. This is when she wants a hug, and asks for one in a very playful manner. Squall doesn't exactly react to that the way we'd expect.
He still has issues and didn't magically get over them, so he partially tho not entirely reverts to his old ways. At this point in the game he is really torn between the person he will eventually become, and the person he has been for the past 14 ish years.
He hasn't "broken any rules" so to speak. When Squall decides to go break Rinoa out he is, for the first time in the game, putting someone ahead of his duty's. This is an often over looked, but very powerful sign in the transformation of Squalls personality.
When Squall does break her out, he immediately embraces her, which only makes sense by this point in his personality development. Squall is a very complex character and his level of depth in character development is admittedly easily overlooked. However, it IS there, and when you find it you realize just how well written it is.
It's been a while. IX's romance is undoubtedly the most realistically done out of the four games, no question. And the best. Zidane actually acting like the average teenager only makes it even better. User Info: mr That's just it. The story happens in literally a few weeks.
I don't know, taking a comatose person and leaving without notice whatsoever seems like he'd be fired of that Commander title. The whole SeeD thing didn't really amount to anything in the story other than giving Squall a background. New posts. Search forums. Log in. Install the app. Contact us. Close Menu. I'm pretty sure when she wakes up while she's drifting along in space, you see an FMV sequence of her pressing a button on her suit, and her helmet opens at the top I noticed this and wtf?
It looks like some picture just floats from her. Where did it come from? Mitsuki Veteran. Her helmet never opened at the top. Follow Piet to the Medical Room and carry Rinoa into the far room. Follow Piet to the Control Room and examine the monitor in the far-right corner.
Challenge Piet to a card game to try and win the Alexander Card from him. Head to the passageway outside the Medical Room. Follow Rinoa to the Control Room, talk to her, and examine the monitor in the far-right corner again. Continue to the Locker Room on the second floor and approach the airlock. Open the compartment second from the right, put on the space suit, and follow Rinoa into the Dock. Return to the airlock, head for the Control Room, and talk to Piet.
User Info: Boxxy4. User Info: zantetsuken I think that it was a vision that Squall had, that he couldnt save anyone and that in the end he really was just all alone. I could be wrong. Violate the dead Don't worry, anyone could be wrong, since it was never mentioned. Though a strange flashback of one of the characters probably dying when in fact they didn't is pretty significant.
Although thinking about it, it goes well with Rinoa's face going all funny in that scene too, I'm guessing Squall was having trouble remembering her due to GF use. User Info: mr It doesn't make sense but then again, you don't magically get oxygen in your oxygen tank when it practically said there was no oxygen left while you're floating endlessly in space.
So who knows what that scene was. Firstly, there's no indication Rinoa saw the same stuff Squall did! Secondly, all those visions Squall had are a direct result of the fact that time compression is affected by willpower, emotions and memories see: laguna's love and friendship talk.
Squall was lost in time and couldn't get out, started panicking more and more, thinking he'd never see Rinoa again etc. Makes sense really. It's unlikely that it's meant to mean anything deep.
Well, the fact is that they were able to use willpower to get to Ultimecia's era, and they ended up at Edea's orphanage, which is the memory they had been focusing on. So clearly time compression does react to willpower and memory to some extent.
Adding emotions then is hardly a stretch, especially because then the crazy final FMV stuff is explained perfectly.
